flooded over a span of 5 blocks. and old and the city says the breaks can not be avoided because of how hold the infrastructure is. they were stuck and businesses flooded and people had to deal with the dirty water because of the work being done. commuters should not be detoured. >> if you are coming into the area and heading east and west, you want to go far afield and take 25th street. stop here and cross net royal east and west. the further are you away. maryland avenue will be packed tomorrow and st. paul. move further away. can you get through. >> at this point they're not sure how long it will take before the streets get back to normal. there is water flowing and lots of repairs to be done. the crews will be done. they suspended the work because they were afraid of striking gas lines. do not try to drive through the area, you will see a lot of yellow tape. and heading down this way 5 blocks is up is penn station. the roads are detoured so you want to make sure to avoid the area. >> this is not the first time they dealt with no water or breaks. >> this stems from the aging infrastr
